Purpose of the association according to § 2 of the statutes of CLAW - initiative for climate justice (as of 25.11.2022):

The purpose of the association, whose activities are not aimed at profit, is to point out social and/or constitutional grievances and the education and awareness-raising required in this respect, to provide assistance to victims of human rights violations and official failures, to support consumers: inside in cases of business practices of companies that are harmful to the climate and the environment, promoting and preserving the democratic and constitutional pillars of society as well as the observance of human rights, promoting the legal equality of all people regardless of their gender, ethnic origin or religious affiliation, comprehensive legal promotion of environmental protection, nature and species conservation as well as climate protection and sustainability and pointing out existing deficits in the rule of law in this regard at national and international level.
